Doek are made in a footwear factory that continues for 140 years in Kurume City, Japan. Minimal and functional Doek is certainly one of the best sneaker brand in the world. 

Follows in the footsteps of the classic Balmoral-style tennis shoe-design. The canvas is coarsely woven with a loom that is used to weave Kurume kasuri textile. The canvas that has been dyed Japanese indigo at thread-stage will develop its character the more it is walked in. The footbed is made with naturally-breathing cork. It is daily wear with beauty, comfort, and durability, due to the vulcanizing method that is done by hand.
