About Mini-Tet

MINI-TET was started in 2022 by London based designer Simon McLean with the intention of creating quality, timeless pieces that can integrate into an existing contemporary wardrobe. The expression 'mini-Tet' was coined by British photojournalist Tim Page in 1968. It refers to the smaller less widely known Tet offensive which took place in the 8th arrondissement of Saigon, in Cholon, Chinatown, near Y bridge. An obscure starting point when taken out of context, but the influences are drawn from a wider palette.

Good proportion and style, a pared down aesthetic, informed by military details, collected vintage, sub-culture, whimsy and wordplay are the brand's benchmarks.
