Cohérence outerwear is inspired by legendary artists and intellectuals who transcended boundaries by their talent. The "Jacques" model is inspired by the rain anorak worn by director Jacques Demy on the set of "Les Parapluies de Cherbourg" (1964), combining functional details from a military garment of the same era. This reversible anorak, both classic in style and contemporary in design, is crafted from a fabric made by the house of Cohérence: a lightweight, water-repellent cotton with a dry texture.

All Cohérence collections are fully produced in Japan with an exceptional level of craftsmanship in ready-to-wear.

Shoulder width :
Measure between the shoulder seams measured across the back.

Back Lenght :
Measure from the centre back of the base of the collar to the hem.

Chest Circumference :
Lay the shirt buttons fastened and double the measurement across the chest between the lowest point of the arm seams.

Sleeve Lenght :
Combine the measurement from the centre of the collar to the shoulder seam and the measurement from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

Designer Kentaro Nakagomi's love for Surrealism, Jazz, and “Nouvelle Vague” cinema is reflected in the beautiful modern classics collection, crafted with a high level of Japanese craftsmanship. Cohérence's fabrics are developed in-house, including the "Tweed Chevron Jersey," made with rare knitting machines and a blend of four types of wool.

The collection showcases Japanese attention to detail, featuring real horn buttons, a lining motif designed after a Jean Cocteau’s shirt or very practical storm pockets. All overcoats are made entirely in Japan.
