Heinrich Dinkelacker

The Central European Shoemaking Tradition

Since 1879, Heinrich Dinkelacker has upheld a tradition of handcrafted shoes rooted in the artisanal expertise of Central Europe. Each pair, meticulously crafted in their Hungarian workshops, goes through up to 300 steps of production. The brand relies on traditional shoemaking techniques, such as Norwegian stitching and Goodyear welting, to ensure both comfort and durability.

The leathers used are sourced from top European tanneries for box calf and American ones for cordovan, chosen for their quality and ability to age beautifully. Designed to last and adapt to the shape of the foot over time, Heinrich Dinkelacker models combine comfort and functionality while embracing the distinctive “Budapester” style typical of Central European footwear. From sturdy boots to versatile derbies, every pair strikes a balance between rustic tradition and modernity.
